The risks and consequences of' ' just accepting the situation is that other people die because of your own action. In the village of Le Chambon where the people helped 5000 jews and kept sending them to neutral countries. These people in the village did not care what would happen to them or their family. Le Chambon served 5000 jews in just 5000 christians.

The people knew the risks of taking the jews hiding them and then sending them to neutral countries but they still continued with the hard work.
